Filter interactions: The filter I created just affects one Dashboard

Hi all,

I have a filter that shows the different departments, but I want it to affect all the dashboards of the page, however, when selecting the different options in the filter, I see that it just changes one.

How do I have to do so that all of them in that page are updated according to what I select on the filter?

Thanks so much,

JFB

If you select the slicer visual in your report a format tab can be seen on top.

Select that one and the select edit interactions.

Then you can see (and change) which visuals will be affected by your slicer.

The information you have provided is not making the problem clear to me. Can you please explain with an example.

    Appreciate your Kudos.

so basically I have one page with different dashboards that contain different data of a livechat. Afterwards what I did was to incluse a filter dashboard, which contain the name of the different departments that use this solution. Howerver, when I select the different departments, just one of the dashboards changes accordingly. The rest stay dynamic, i.e., they are not affected by the last filter I added.

and btw, I am speaking just about one page, not more than one.

When you say 'filter dashboard' - is that a slicer?

So you are not using the filter pane, you are saying that not all visuals on one page respond to changes in the slicer?

If so, it's not possible for us to find out what's going on without looking at the pbix.  It depends on the data model and filtering between tables.

If you want to debug this, hover the cursor over each visual on the 'Filters and Slicers affecting this visual' and start from there.

Can you confirm that you are using the 'Filters on this page' section, not the 'Filters on this visual'

I added one filter dashboard from "visuals".
