Return
Calculate([Actuals], Filter('Sales',Sales'[Department] =CurrentDept))
I want to be able to get the value for each year and period for a given department
Dept year Value Period
Marketing 2020 5 P01
Marketing 2020 5 P02
Marketing 2020 5 P03
the above gives me 15.

Please explain a bit more. What is this a measure? If so how are you going to use it (in what kind of visual, with what fields in the visual)? Show the tables in your models and their relationships. And the expected result the measure should yield.
