Filter for a value if only seen

I'm not sure how to do this.  I have a table of data and one column contains various strings.  I want to filter for rows that contain just a certain value.  That value may be found in some rows with additional text but I want to find where just that text appears alone.

Looking at the below I did a filter using "epops-agent" as the value and I get what I am looking for which is entries like:

/opt/vmware/epops-agent/bundles/agent-x86-64-linux-6.7.0/pdk/lib/log4j-1.2.14.jar#

But you can see some rows contain more info e.g. /opt/ibm/websphere becuase the value i filtered on (epops-agent) is also present in the row.  I want it to only show rows in which only /opt/vmware/epops-agent/bundles/agent-x86-64-linux-6.7.0/pdk/lib/log4j-1.2.14.jar# appears and nothing else.

  • Hi,

If you want to filter the particular visual, go to the Filter pane in power bi, and in the column filter, select 'Advance Filtering' and in Contain value, put your specific value :

    Then click 'Apply filter'.

    Hi Anonymous ,

    You could create a measure

    Filter Flag = IF(CONTAINSSTRING(MAX('Table'[Column1]),"epops-agent"),1,0)

And then apply it to visual-level filter pane:
