I have a Power BI page with two bar charts. The first chart filters the second one so when I click a bar in the first chart the second chart filters accordingly.
Is there a way to set a default bar filter? I want the report landing page to open with the bar filter already applied.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi @vrafael ,
suparnababu8 , good answer!
Is this what you mean by "default bar filter"?
If so, I'm sorry that your requirement cannot be met, because this behavior is called highlight, which is not a filter in the strict sense. Any save operation in Power BI cannot save the result after highlighting.
Please try the method mentioned by suparnababu8. In Power BI, only bookmarks can record the operations after highlighting, but you need to manually click to switch bookmarks after opening the report to display it.

Hi @vrafael
There is no stright forward option to achieve this requirement in Power BI. But, you can achieve this with some workaround. By using book marks concept you can achive this.
If you follow these steps, your report will open with the default filter applied to the first bar chart, ensuring that the second chart is filtered accordingly.
Let me know if it works.
Thanks
