Filter based on line chart x axis

Hi,

I have a report with three visuals, a line chart, a matrix and a timeline. When I alter the timeline the data in the other two visuals is filtered. When I select a row in the matrix the data in the line chart is filtered. However, when I select a point on the line chart no filtering is applied.

As the line chart shows min, max and average times (y axis) over a date range (x axis) my ideal scenario would be for the user to click on a data point and the table to be filtered to show information from that date.

I have checked the filtering interactions and these are set to on for each visual, so I am unsure if this is not a supported feature.
