Good morning dear community....
Context: every day I get some data out of a database but I need to automate something...my daily procedure it is to get the data in an excel file and filter all the data which belong to the actual date (The day Im running the report) for example if I have to run this today 09-10-2018...all the data belonging to this date I have to take it out and use the only the data till 08-08-2018…in this case from January to the day before (08-08-2018) like this in this example. ...I have to do that manually every day and Im trying to make it work automatically in Power BI cause the idea is to have power BI connected to that data base and make power bi work by itself...I would like to fix that but I cant...what I did was playing with the function "previous day" and insert it to my formulas but my calculations get wrong or just go to "0" ...I was trying with Max function, but I cant make it work either… any advice would be very welcome!!!!!!! Greetings community and I hope you guys can help me out.

@christianfcbmx there is many ways to do it, you can fiter the data in power query and not to include todays data, or you can use date as relative filter in report level/page level filter and uncheck "INclude today".
Hope it is helpful.
