Filter Zendesk Data in Power Query on Retrieve

Hi all,

I am trying to pull a table from Zendesk using the Power Query Zendesk Data Connector

For the most part it seems to be working, but unfortunately my organization has a large amount of ticketing data that gets pulled in. With SQL databases there is often an option to pull the data with a query as it comes in (limiting the amount of rows and columns). So far, I could not find anything similar for this Zendesk Connector.

Is there anything similar (like writing a query) you can do with the new Zendesk Data connector? Any way you can change the Power Query code to limit the amount of entries coming in? Are there any workarounds that are not convoluted API type solutions?

Here is the basic Power Query code to bring in a table with ticket data:

let
  Source = ZendeskData.Contents("https://my_company.zendesk.com/hc/en-us", []),
  #"Navigation 1" = Source{[Key = "Tickets"]}[Data],
in
  #"Navigation 1"

Here are some related forums, but both are from years ago and just resort to API solutions. I believe the new connector just came out this year:

Thanks all!

    Hi jhalverson ,

    I don't have much experience with this, but have looked up solutions for you to try using the third party Alpha Serve to try it out:Power BI Connector by Alpha Serve App Integration with Zendesk Support

    Hope it helps!
