Filter Duplicating Values - Copy field

  Here's a strange one.   I have a column that I can add to the filter panel and it produces duplicates instead of distinct values.   If I copy the field and add it into the filter panel it does...

    Hi CEllis ,
    As Kaviraj11  said, you can go to power query and set the format of the columns. According to my testing when your data is formatted as text with spaces in front of the data, even though it shows up all the same on your table visualization, it still categorizes them on the filter's presentation.


    When you copy and re-paste, power query will convert it to the most compatible format.

     

    You can also make changes to the column type to whole number in the table interface
