Filled maps visual does not auto-zoom correctly

Sorry for delay in response, This issue should have been fixed in mid-December 2019, could you please try to reproduce with the latest version of Power BI Desktop? Based on my test, we did not get this error again with the February version.

Have you tried to cretea a calculated column as location field such as following?
Location = [Country] & IF(NOT(ISBLANK([State]) || [State]=""),", ") & [State]

I appreciate your help. I tried out the calculated column and it gives a better view of the situation than using country and state/province fields. When I try this in the visual I end up with the incorrect render. This has got to be a Bing maps issue. For now I will just turn off the autozoom which really hurts the user experience.

Have you tried to use the latest version of Power BI Desktop? Does our sample data has the same issue on your side? Could you please try to use Filter on some location to see if there it only happen on some specific records?

I downloaded your data and I was seeing exactly what your caption showed. I then manually added Austrailia into the data set and was getting the incorrect render issue. At first I had added data from Japan and Austrailia, but removed Japan for the pictures shown. There was no difference in either and this corresponds to my problem.
