Hi all,
I have read that the best method to show countries in the Filled Maps visual is to use the ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 codes.
Indeed, it works well for the vast majority, but I have instances where or the code is wrongly interpreted (eg: AUS fills the United States and not Australia!) or is not recognised (eg: SVK does not recognise Slovakia, or SWE does not recognise Sweden, or THA does not recognise Thailand,...).
Do you know if this is a bug or PowerBi issue, or some different codes should be used in some cases?
Thank you,

Hi Mickey,
thank you for your reply.
I was using Country names before, but they were not always reliable, and also being in Italian they were often not recognised.
That's why I am turning to using the ISO Country Codes as they should be a global standard
Thank you Mickey,
now I understand, I believe I had not fully grasped your first reply - so you mean that I should better use the official country names as they are used in Bing Maps?
Yes. (^^)/
