Why does the filled map visual not recognise proper ISO 3 character country codes? Ive set the data category to be country and confirmed in the data that Australia is AUS but if I filter for just Australia I can see it colours in the United States... Do I need to go through my dataset and add in the actual full country name? Surely visuals like this should run well on ISO country codes?

From My knowledge you will need use the full name that Bing maps uses or the Latitude & Longitude. You can find Full tables on Wikipedia that contain the ISO 2 & 3 along with Country Names, that you could possible use as a Dimension table
