Filled Map - center over Values

Hi!

I'm using the Filled Map, to visualize where a Project is execuret. Input to the Filled Map is a column of Countries. I would like to get the map to center over the supplied values ie if I give Germany and Denmark as indata - the map should be focused over that area of the world. If I give United States - it should be focuse over America. However - It always focus over europe. If I move the map - it refocus on Europe when it refilters...

How do I det the Map to focus over the Input Value - and not my location (Which is what I think it's doing...)

  • Hi Bobbo4518 - At Format Pane of the map visual.Find the Map Controls section and check for any settings related to auto-zoom or geographic settings.Turn on auto-zoom (if it's not enabled already). This setting allows the map to zoom in automatically to the geographic regions present in the data when filters are applied. If you are using a slicer for countries, ensure that the slicer is functioning correctly, and the map visual is reacting to the selected countries. When you filter the countries (e.g., to only show Germany and Denmark), the map should auto-zoom to the selected countries.

Enable auto-zoom in the map's format settings as shown below:

    Hope this helps.

Hi Thanks for the reply - but i doesn't work...

Those settings was already as you recomended. To make my problem a bit more visible. It works quite well as long as I select a country within Europe. It zooms/centers in on the correct Contry/Countries. BUT - If a give the US as an input it only shows me a small part of US - and it Zooms out to show most of the world map...

      Input: Sweden/Denmark:

      Input: United States

If I move the map aropund - I can see that United States is filled in - but it doesn't center in on it...! I have to move the map manually to find the area filled in - and thats what I DONT want to do....
