Hello,
I have some PBI files that I have created, which I can't open now. Each time I try to open them I get an error message.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Apparently, it was a global issue related to access level for some users. It's not related to the Desktop applicaton itself.
Thanks for the help community 😁
Hi @HassanHijazi ,
Yes, so if your problem has been solved?
If not. please contact the power bi admin as the error message said to access permission.
Best Regards,
Eyelyn Qin

Hi @HassanHijazi ,
According to the official document , protected .pbix files can be only opened by a user who has Full control and/or Export usage rights for the relevant label. The user that set the label also has Full control and can never be locked out. See more detail

Hi Eyelyn,
I tried this solution as well, and no success.
@HassanHijazi , Open a blank power bi file. Sign into power bi and then try to open. Seem like it saved some sensitivity label and you do have access to that label data
hi @amitchandak ,
thanks for the suggestion. I have tried that, and once I am signed in, I try to open the files. still no success.
