Filed Paramter is not working in a matrix visual

I have created a field paramter with diemnsions and added in matrix visual it is not showing the data in matrix

@Dhairya I have created a field parameter with dimensions and added the paramenter in values filed of a matrix. I am unable to see the data in the matrix

but when I create the field paramenter with measures I am able to see the data

We create field parameters with measures to dynamically change values in the single graph on selected specific values from the field parameter slicer, if you use dimensions in the field parameter what will it calculate? it needs some factual values to perform calculation so we have to use measures in Field parameters according to the use case.
