I am a new user and dont seem to have an "Exit" button on my Desktop app File menu. Can anyone advise. Thanks
@Anonymous - It doesn't exist, use "x" in upper right corner.
Thnks for you help but I was aware of the "X" close. I am watching a training video on Linked In learning (released April 2020) which shows a screen as per below "Exit" is in the red circle. If I close Power BI all together I have to re-open. On the video this Exit button took you back out to the Home screen after opting to save (or not).
HI @Anonymous
You are refering here to the Power Query M editor window which opens after clicking on the "Edit" or "Transform data".
The view experience of this menu option will be different on older Vs Latst version.
Here is the Exit or Close button.
Thanks for your response Pranit. The screen I am in is shown in the pic. I simply press the "Get data" button then select my data source and then click File and as per the previous screen shot I dont see a close button. Could my organisation have an older version of Power BI? Thanks
