File location in exercise

Hi,

Trying to learn Power BI and going through examples. For example here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/modules/publish-access-reports/exercise-create-mobile-report-view

it says "Start this module with the provided DIAD Final Report.pbix file located in the Reports folder."

Where is this Reports folder in which this file is supposed to be?

  • The Reports folder is not part of the Microsoft Learn module itself. It's included in the Dashboard in a Day (DIAD) training files that accompany the workshop.

The instruction assumes you've already downloaded the DIAD attendee materials, which have a folder structure similar to:

    DIAD/
    ├── Data/
    ├── Reports/
    │ └── DIAD Final Report.pbix
    └── Labs/

The DIAD Final Report.pbix file is located in the DIAD/Attendee/Reports folder of those downloaded assets.

If you don't have the DIAD files yet, you can get them from the official Dashboard in a Day page:

or access the online workshop materials here:

If you're following the Microsoft Learn module independently (without attending the DIAD workshop), the download isn't always obvious, which is why the reference to the "Reports" folder can be confusing.
