Hello All,
I'm fetching my data from Sharepoint and it got loaded in Power BI Desktop all well however the problem that I'm facing is if any alterations are done in that excel file on sharepoint the modifications are not getting reflected in the Power BI Desktop after refreshing manually. Please suggest a way to resolve this. Also do provide me insights on howone has to connect a excel sheet in sharepoint to Power Bi Desktop so the the sync works and one can later publish the same report in Power BI Service.
Here's the link of the youtube video that I watched to connect my data with Power Bi Desktop. I've used the first method where we connect the data using Sharepoint Folder. Please note that I have only one excel file to connect so any new methods of connecting the excel from sharepoint to Power Bi desktop will be welcomed in order to provide solution of this sync issue i.e., any changes done in the same excel is not getting reflected in Power BI Desktop.

Something similar happened to me a few times; I had an excel file saved on Sharepoint, which I connected to. I would make some changes. What worked for me was to make sure that all users closed the file on their browsers, and then I refreshed in PowerBI and the changes updated. I hope that works for you.
