Feature parity cloud vs on-premises

We are considering Power BI Desktop (on-premises) but I see many features currently not available in May preview, ex: 'New Column'. Is there a statement from Microsoft on when on-premises will have...

OK, I was connecting to a SSAS Tabular database,

once I connected to a SQL Server database the 'New Column' is enabled.

 

But back to my original question, is there a statement from Microsoft on feature

parity between 'On-premises' and 'Cloud' for Power BI?

For example, I don't see the 'Table Preview' visualisation.

    Hi Michel8tor,

    You connect to SSAS Tabular database in direct mode, right? There are many limitations, more deails, please review this article. As I tested, I am also unable to create column and measure under direct model.
