False Calculation

Hello,

I do have a Problem with the chart calculating figures wrong:

Calculation fail.JPG

As you can see, the sum up is wrong. Has anyone a clue, why Power BI does this?

The figures are from 3 different tables, The single figures are shown correctly, but like I said, the sum up (GESAMT) is wrong.

Hi @Paddhof1984,

As you mentioned the figures are from three different tables, have you created relationship between them? If yes, can you tell us about that to help you better.

Prateek Raina

Hello @prateekraina,

thanks for offering help. I have got indirect relations between those 3 tables, no direct relation.

I grouped 3 countries together (Germany, Switzerland, Austria) through a new created table, so I could group them together with one country code (D-A-CH - it stands for Germany (D), Austria (A), Swiss (CH)). In case the 3 countries are shown separate in the chart the figures are correct, but in case I am selecting the D-A-CH-selection for those 3 countries, somehow the chart doesn't shows the correct total figure.

As you can see, in the 2nd picture the sum up is incorrect. But I don't know why MS Power BI sums up the figures wrong.
