Failure to close and apply changes in Power BI desktop

I made some changes in the query editor and close and apply the changes in the Power BI dsktop, I received error message and I was unable to complete the apply changes.

Error message:
Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: 'There's not enough memory to complete this operation. Please try again later when there may be more memory available.

Thank you. I have taken the necessary steps and I have just a copy of the file that I am working on. Before today, it refreshes in Power BI without any problems but today, I created 2 parameters and applied them to the queries in the advance editor. They were correctly done but I could not close and apply the changes in Power BI. I have since discarded the changes and the problem is still pending. If I publish the report to the service in this situation, I am not sure if I will be able to refresh the data.

@AdenikeElemo , try to increase the data cache management cache. Under File -> options & Settings -> Options

Load Setting.png

Also, make sure enough RAM is free. Close the browsers taking up a lot of memory

Also, look at steps in power query, that are too complex, revert one or two.
