Dear Community,
I'm trying to update some reports through Power BI Desktop, and I came across these error messages.
"queries are blocked by the following errors:".
"There were not enough elements in the enumeration to complete the operation."
I used the power query editor to investigate the problem, and found the following message:
"Error in query 'Sample File'. Expression.Error: There were not enough elements in the enumeration to complete the operation."
I read in some forums that changing [ApiVersion = 15]) to the value 14 would solve the problem, and I was actually able to update the report, but I work with several different reports, and I will have to do this process manually on each dashboard.
The databases that feed the dashboards are saved in the company's SharePoint, I noticed that Power BI is not being able to access the files that are saved in the cloud.
Is there any other way to resolve the problem, any update or configuration to be performed?
I would like to ask the community for help with this topic.
Thank you in advance for this communication channel.
Atte.
Carlos

Hi @carlosferreira ,
The error “queries are blocked by the following errors” means that one or more of your queries have failed to load or refresh, and this affects the other queries that depend on them. To fix this error, you need to identify which query is causing the problem and resolve it. You can do this by going to the Power Query Editor and refreshing each query individually. You should see an error message for the query that is failing.

You also mentioned that Power BI is not able to access the files that are saved in the cloud. This could be due to several reasons, such as:
The files are not shared with you or you do not have the appropriate permissions to access them.
The files are protected by encryption, password, or multi-factor authentication.
The files are located in a different domain or network than your Power BI Desktop.
The files are blocked by a firewall, proxy, or antivirus software.
To resolve this issue, you need to make sure that you can access the files from your browser or file explorer, and that you have entered the correct credentials and settings in Power BI. You can also try to refresh the data source settings and clear the cache in Power BI.
