Hello,
I'm really stuck and I would highly appreciate some help, I'm pretty new with Power BI.
I've been using a Business Central On Premises data source for my report in Power BI and I didn't had any issues with the connection/credentials but after I published I received errors regarding to the credentials.
I've tried reentering the credentials but no use, I tried every type of privacy levels that I could select. I also tried creating the connection in Power BI Desktop once again and everything works great.
Any ideas regarding this issue? Did anyone ever met this problem? I would appreciate any kind of help/advice!
Have a great day!
Greetings to all
I have the same problem as you but I don't understand what your colleague did with the other end of the data source, I still have this problem and I haven't been able to solve it

Did you have your on-premises gateway settled properly? For on-premises datasource, you always need an on-premise gateway. On-premises data gateway architecture | Microsoft Docs

Hello,
Thanks for the response, I've managed to get trough that issue, it was an issue on the data source's end, a colleague managed to solve it. I now have other problems...
Power BI tells me that I don't need a gateway for those 2 data sources.
"You don't need a gateway for this dataset, because all of its data sources are in the cloud, but you can use a gateway for enhanced control over how you connect."
My first data source is an OData from Business Central and the other is straight from SQL.
I've installed a gateway on the machine where Business Central is installed. However, I can't add it as a data source in the gateway in Power BI as it just tells me "Cannot be added to the gateway".
My problem is that I pull a large amount of data from Business Central and that takes way too much time.
What is the solution for this?
1. If installing the gateway is a solution, how to do it? I can't really manage to add the data source to it.
2. Should I move to SQL? I mean, should I get the data straight from SQL and not from Business Central?
Thank you for your time!
PS: Unfortunately, incremental refresh doesn't work for this data source. That's why I'm thinking about optimizing the way I'm pulling the data.
What did your colleague do to fix this issue?
