Facebook and Twitter analyzing data

Hi,   I am looking forward to build a twitter and facebook dashboard for one of the manufacturing company. can you help me how to extract the data from both social media sites.   I don't have any...

    I see only id and name, thats it. Cal I get everything here.

      Hi Anonymous,

       

      Power BI desktop provide Facebook connector for us to get data. which kind of data we can retrieve depends on available connection values and Facebook API.

       

       

      As there is no Twitter connector in desktop, we need to use web data source to call Twitter API. Available retrieved data are also depends on the Twitter API. See: Get Data from Twitter API with Power Query.

        When I select Likes, I get id and name, what to do to get all the likes?

    I followed the facebook instructions for microsoftbi and got popup limit to 100 and resolved using advance editor. but I see only 4 fields like created_time, id, message and story. I don't get all the other fields as shown in this link.

    I tried my facebook as Me and didn't get much details. I got just only Post as I have selected only Posts. Do we get only 4 fields like as I mentioned. If I want to get everything of Me like posts, Likes, comments, friends.

     

    I tried with friends and got only three friends names.. Why all these discrepancies..

     

    Any idea.
