FORMAT dax function is no longer available on directQuery

it worked in the previous version...   is it going to be fixed?.   thanks!

Hi MP_123,

What is your formula? Based on my test, I can successfully use FORMAT function on DirectQuery mode as long as I select “allow unrestricted measures via DirectQuery” option in the following screenshot.



In Power BI Desktop, a set of DAX functions have been disabled by default on DirectQuery mode in order to avoid performance issues with these functions, we will need to enable “allow unrestricted measures via DirectQuery” option to use these functions.
