FILTER & ALLSELECTED on Outlier Chart

Hello,

I have a visual that is displaying "outliers", this is a binary measure of 0's and 1's based on constrant rules. I would like to be able to click on a data point in the chart and a table that has summary details filter to display the "outlier". This is working fine, nothing power BI isn't set up for.

However, this is my issue.....

I want to be able to display all the other observations that are of the same MPN (variable in my dataset). I haven't been able to get the table to NOT filter out all the other observations. I've know it's a combination of the ALL fuction. This is what I've used thus far and it has not worked. I assume I would need to address every variable I want displayed in my table (RFQ, FQ, Supplier, Vol, Date, Price, and Status)

MPN_All =
ALLSELECTED(Query1[MFGPARTNUMBER])

My solution for the mean time is to use a drill through filter and have the other observations display on the next page. As you see below:

I would like to display all the observations in 1 table, by selecting a data point in the chart, all on the same page. All the data points share a MPN number, nothing else.

Do you have any insight into how I would do this?

  • Hi Anonymous ,

You could use SELECTEDVALUE(Query1[MFGPARTNUMBER])  to get a variable. Then use it as a condition to filter second table.

Here is my test file for your reference.
