Hello!
I recently changed computers, from an I7 10th to an I9 13th, however, while my old I7 takes six seconds to open the Power Bi Desktop application, the I9 takes almost six minutes to perform the same function. All other applications are normal, the slowdown is only shown in PBI. Do you know how I could improve?
PBI Version: 2.121.903.0 64-bit (September/2023)
Windows 11
Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900H 2.60 GH
RAM 32,0 GB
Thank you!

@parry2k ,
I managed to identify the problem. I was using a hub because my new laptop doesn't have many ports. The hub was turning peripherals into hard drives, perhaps because it was unable to perform proper identification. I changed the door mouse and had no more problems!
@gwrcs is very hard to tell, I don't have a similar setup that I can recreate a similar scenario. Not sure what to say.

Thank you for this... Was becoming crazy but it was an sd to usb adapter connected to the computer.. Disconnected it and powerbi started quickly again.
Thanks again!! 🙂
I was able to understand why. When I insert an external keyboard and mouse using the USB-C port, the notebook recognizes it as an external hard drive. The strange thing is that it only impacts PBI. When removing the peripherals, it stopped showing slowness.
Now, can you tell me how to prevent this behavior?
Thank you!
@gwrcs sorry not sure what else to tell. It is surely machine related, never seen it before. I hope someone else can assist if they have experience with it.

Thank you for the help.
@gwrcs that's odd. Are you using the store version or the downloaded version? Maybe try with a vice versa to see if it gets better, although it is not a logical solution but to see if it helps.

I've already done this, using both methods, the performance didn't change.
