Hi everyone,
I've been given an assignment to extract the metadata from Power BI files into an excel file. Now the thing is they want it to be an automatic process. I have found a way to extract metadata from word documents into excel by using VBA. Here is a link to the excel file: https://exceleratorbi.com.au/extract-word-metadata-with-excel-vba/
The way you extract the metadata from word in the excel file is exactly the way I need it, but for Power BI documents.
Is there any way you can help me with this?
I have found a lot of different ways to extract metadata from Power BI, but they aren't automated and often not able to handel multiple Power BI documents at a time.
Thanks !
Hi @Anonymous,
Currently it is not supported to that.
You can also try to use Analyze in Excel.
You can refer.

@Anonymous , refer if this one can help

This could work. But is there a way to then open multiple documents at once or export multiple translations at once? Or can you only do this one document at a time?
