Extract locations from Google Map
Hi All,
I am trying to recreate the map in the below link in powerbi.
http://apps.nowwhere.com.au/BP/SiteLocator
Is it possible to do so?

We cannot embed Google Maps in Power BI now. Please vote on this idea. We unable to get lat/long from power query.
If you have lat/log position data, you can set the Data Category, the Lat as Latitude(highlighted in yellow background), the Log as Longitude.
Create a ArcGIS map, select Lat as Latitude field, the Log as Longitude, you will see the dots on the map, please see the following screenshot.
If you don't have Lat as Latitude, you can also use other datas. The following articles are for your referance.

Absolutely! The good news is, there are multiple ways you can do this. Do you have the Lat/Lng details for the places you'd like to pinpoint? I definitly recommend you have a play with the ArcGIS visual which will give you lots of options on how you'd like to present the data.

If you post some LatLng data, even just a sample, we can provide a prototype for you to play with.

I dont have the lat/long position for the places. Is is possible to get the lat/long from power query.
At present I taken the lat/log position manually from google map. Below are few samples
1) -31.638301, 129.003408
2) -22.380107, 143.043234
3) -19.636921, 134.192450
