Extract Years, Months and Quarters from a date in direct query

Hi @amitchandak , @Greg_Deckler ,

We have a Date in DateFormat of time stamp and i want to extract date, months, quarters and Years .

It is in Direct Query that is the main Problem Over Here..

Please guide me on this..

@krrish116  - You can do the same using calculated columns using the functions mentioned below: 

Year_test = YEAR('Date'[Date ID])

Qtr_test = QUARTER('Date'[Date ID])

Month_test = MONTH('Date'[Date ID])
