Extract XML file from ZIP using Power Query

Question

Hello friends,I have a file named "data.zip" that is updated daily in my onedrive.It contains another file named "details.xml" that I want to import to PowerBI (.zip contains other files, too, but I need only this one).I need to do this automatically so I can schedule the refresh without "unzipping" manually.I have found some sources that should work with excel/csv files, but they are not working with xml.http://sql10.blogspot.com/2016/06/reading-zip-files-in-powerquery-m.htmlhttps://www.excelandpowerbi.com/?p=155Please help.Michael

Based on my research, it is not supported yet currently. There is an idea about that you can vote it up to make this feature coming sooner.

I am pretty sure you can do it.Since someone managed to extract Excel/Csv from zip - it means that zip files CAN be read.And since Power BI works fine with XML - then it IS possible.I just need help with the code that extracts XML from zip...Please helpThanks&nbsp;
