External reference for a new column

Hello everyone, 
I have a very large db uploaded on PowerBI, I need to add a new column but the data needed to fill the column are on an Excel file but I don't want to upload it as a table. Can I hava a function something like VLOOKUP in Excel but on PowerBI having an external reference on a file?

    You need at least one more column - the join column.  Import that two column table from Excel and then use a Merge function to blend the data into your original query based on the common column.
