External Tools Ribbon is missing
I have installed the latest Power BI Desktop as well as th latest DAX Studio however the External Tools Ribbon is still missing. Any ideas?

You don't have external tools in Power Bi Desktop by default, you need to register the the tool in Desktop. Please follow the tutorial:

This should not be a case. Please share your screen shot.
Also, There is a newver version available in march. you may want to update to it.

Have you tried Downloading the Business Ops program and downloading those tools from there? Here..
