Hello,
I was trying to divide the text into 30,000 characters according to this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYYJEx6kY5s to make the images to display in PowerBI, due to some images having lots of characters. However, I kept getting the error of Expression.Error:The name 'SplitTextFunction' wasn't recognized. Make sure it's spelled correctly
This is my codes. I wonder what went wrong. Please help! Thank you!
= (InputRow as list) =>
let
BinaryIn = InputRow{1},
FileName = InputRow{0},
BinaryText = Binary.ToText(BinaryIn,BinaryEncoding.Base64),
SplitUpText = SplitTextFunction(InputRow{1}),
AddFileName = List.Transform(SplitUptext, each {FileName,_})
in
AddFileName

@ale259 There is no native Power Query function called SplitTextFunction. Are you sure you didn't miss a step and need to create that function as a custom function?

Thank you for the answers! I did miss a step of creating that function. Following this steps, I successfully convert 1 file. However, when I try to ask Power BI to convert all file, with the function
= List.Transform(#"Input List", each #"Convert 1 File"(_))
It shows me a list with all the errors.
when I clicked on the error it shows this:
I wonder what went wrong this time. Can you guess why so? Thank you!
