Exporting Data to Excel in Workspace
Hi All,
I have a table in Power BI which I've shared to Workspace. However, it doesn't give the option to export to Excel. Does any one know how I can enable this setting, please? Even when I click on ... to the right of the table, and 'show as a table', it only gives the PowerPoint option or as an image.
I've checked the option on the Desktop current file, and I've allowed users to export data -
Much appreciated!
Hi,
Could be a thing at tenant setting level. Please refer to below post:)

Hi,
Under Format option you would need to enable 'More Option'.
In Service, leave the 'Hide the visual header in the reading view' unchecked.
In Report, your users will need to click '...' on the top right corner of the table for Exporting.

Thanks for the quick reply. I already have 'More Options' selected, and the 'hide visual header', so there must be something else affecting this.
Do you have any other ideas?
Many thanks

Hi,
My setting in previous post was based on the 'Visual Option' setting in my 'Options' of my pbix file. Normally i do not give my users the way to Exporting data. so for my pbix file, i checked first two boxes under 'Visual Option' and only enable them in Service when i need to.

Thanks. Yes, I have the same settings currently applied to this dashboard. Could it be something to do with them needing build access? I'm part of an organisation, so potentially there are restrictions applied?
This is the option my users have in workspace after I published it:
