Exporting Data into Excel
Dear All,
My manager is asking the reports of Power BI in Excel for Users and All users need the reports in excel
now there are two problems
first when i am trying to summarize way to export the data into excel from BI services
it is not exporting but it is not coming with total, now they are saying what is the use of it, we can export it from Navision to excel easily. tell me any way how can i export the data with Total
Second is when i am trying to export it by underlying way, it is giving me an error

then i went to power BI desktop opened file option then went to current file and report setting, checked the box saying allow users to export summarize and underlying way..
can someone help...

Anonymous , In power bi service there is an option for analyze in excel. will that help

When you export to excel it takes you to the table that makes up the visualization (table or graph), but NOT the totals.
the best thing you can do is use the analyze functionality in excel.
to do this you must be licensed by Power BI PRO. Already connected to excel, you can create the dynamic tables and graphs you need, and you can make use of columns and measures from the Power BI data model.
you even respect security at the role level.
all users you share excel to must have Power BI PRO to be able to streamline and update the data.
