Hello, a collague has created a report using semantic model as data set. I am contributor and now owner of the data. I want to dowload the report to my desktop to make changes on data but when i download the file, data view does not appear.
How can i export the report and data set, querry view altogether to be able to edit?
no data view
hello @nll14 ,
yes, the thing is that this report is connected to a published dataset, so inorder to do changes in the data, you need to download the published dataset and do the changes then publish it again the refresh your report.

@nll14 ,
can you try finding the published power bi report that your report is reading from, it's totally different report that has a dataset and your power bi report is connected to this dataset.
check this to know what I mean https://powerbi.microsoft.com/it-ch/blog/connecting-to-datasets-in-the-power-bi-service-from-desktop....
