Export of Underlying Data empty.
I am having a disturbing issue with a dashboard. When I try to export the underlying data, the excel file I am getting is empty. More over the file format is greyed out.
Microsoft states that exporting underlying may fail because:
- the version is older than 2016.
- the tables in the model don't have a unique key.
- an administrator or report designer has disabled this feature.
- you enable the Show items with no data option for the visualization Power BI is exporting.
I checked all but 'the tables in the model don't have a unique key' confuses me. I added an custom column with an incremented index to make sure that rows are unique. Still nothing.
Can somebody help me?

Hi StelaP ,
Can you please share some more detail information about this issue?(e.g. datasource type, connection mode, any security roles applied on it, report permissions settings) They should help us clarify your scenario and test to troubleshoot.

Hi StelaP.
Have you checked the admin portal settings about export data options if they affect or block the feature usages?
