Export data to excel - Pro Limit not being honoured

Hi, I'm trying to export some data from Desktop.

I know there is normally a 30k rows limit on exporting, but according to this article if I'm signed into my Pro account (which I am) I should be able to download 150k rows

Limitations and considerations

  • The maximum number of rows that can be exported is 30,000 (for Power BI Free users) and 150,000 (for Power BI Pro users).

(I'm actually on a Pro Trial account in case there's a known disparity between trial Pro & full Pro)

Is anyone else able to have the 150k pro limit honoured? Any other way of extracting the resulting tables? (Publishing to Web not an option for this dataset)

Thanks

As Power BI Desktop is a free desktop application you can install right on your own computer, I don't think it will work differently according to the different account type you're signed in. It seems that we can only export 30k rows on Power BI Desktop.

So the limitation mentioned in the article is for Power BI Service, not for Power BI Desktop. And I have verified that I can export 150k rows from Power BI service with a Pro account.Smiley Happy

you can try this powershell script

but if your data sets is small less than 1 Million, the easiest way is copy table past in Excel.
