Export data to Excel

Dear Power BI,

In an rapport you have the possibility to make an export to Excel from one visual.

This option is gone when you publish the raport on the internet and opens with the link that was created.

is there an possibility to apply this feature in the version online?

Kind regards,

N van de Veerdonk

Perhaps you just need to update your report's export settings?

It may depend on how you are embedding it; but our customers are able to export data via app owns model.

 Dear Power BI,

i was not in the ability to react. But the answer you gave is for end users.

I need the option for no users.

Is there a possibility?

Kind regards

Hi @NvdVeerdonk ,

PowerBI service provides the export data feature, if you have enough permission on this report, you can export data to Excel:

Hi @TeigeGao

Thank you for your explanation.

So if i understand it correctly it is only possible if you have a power BI account.

I want to give customers this possiblility if they dont have an power BI account and only use the link they received.

Kind regards,

Hi @NvdVeerdonk ,

You can export the data even you don't have an account, if you share it via embed, people who are using this report can also export data.

Best Regards,

Teige

Hi @TeigeGao

Thank you for youre answer. You can see the data with an embed code, but my question is whether you can export this data also without an account.

the image below is disappeared in the embed code. This is the option i just need.
