Export data in .xlsx file from a custom visual

I would like to export underlying data from a custom visual I developed. But I encountered the following issues on the server:

underlying data is greyed out because it has to be into .xlsx. Then if you see the sentence at the bottom, it says due to the data strucutre it is not possible to export to .xlsx.

    Hi Anonymous 

     

    Your data might hit some limitations of the exporting feature, see all limitations in Export the data that was used to create a visualization#limitations-and-considerations. Some are as below:

    • Export using Underlying data won't work if:

      • the version is older than 2016.

      • the tables in the model don't have a unique key.

      • an administrator or report designer has disabled this feature.

    • Export using Underlying data won't work if you enable the Show items with no data option for the visualization Power BI is exporting.
