Dear all,
I am trying to use the great new feature allowing me to export live Power BI data to powerpoint;
Everything seems to work fine on powerpoint desktop version 👍, however powerpoint online is not able to display the power BI report pages in presentation mode, even though everything looks fine while editing, including interactivity, filters/slicers etc.
There is no message to indicate any issue, just the rotating 'loading...' type icon which never stops.
I have PowerBI Pro license but not everyone in the team does. I know i can embed a static image but I would prefer I can present the live data of course.
Any ideas? Licensing issue perhaps ?

Thanks Yalan Wu for your reply,
Yes, I have the add-in and everything works fine as I said, both in the desktop version of Powerpoint and in edit mode of the online version of powerpoint. Only when I go into powerpoint presentation mode using the online version, do I have the issue.
Yes, I'm following the method explained in the blog.
Hey @lolbeat ,
You might have resourcing issue.
Can you please try:
1) have only one slide that has the add-in in your presentation
2) try to use another add-in instead of Power BI Storytelling
Is the issue reproduce also with the above cases?
Thanks, Maya

Hi @v-yalanwu-msft ,
I tried to open a support ticket as well as use the virtual agent, but it seems this issue with PowerPoint is not covered, so the issue is still open
Hi, @lolbeat ;
Based on the above information, if you are a Power BI Pro licensee, you can create a support ticket for free and a dedicated Microsoft engineer will come to solve the problem for you.

Exporting data from a report visual in Power BI Desktop is straightforward. When you export the data, Power BI creates a .csv file with the data.
Select the visual, select More options (...) > Export data.
In the Save As dialog box, select a location for the .csv file, and edit the file name, if you want.
Select Save.

Hi, @lolbeat ;
You can add report pages to PowerPoint presentations starting from either PowerPoint or Power BI. For Power BI to be used as the starting point, Power BI storytelling functionality must be enabled in your organization.
To use the Power BI add-in for PowerPoint, you must have access to the Office add-in store, or the add-in must be available to you as an admin managed add-in.
To be able to view live Power BI data in PowerPoint, you must have an active Power BI account and a Power BI Free license, as well as access to the data. If the Power BI report isn't located in a Premium capacity, a Power BI Pro license is needed.
and Do you embed into PPT in this way? You can check out the restrictions above, or share more information and screenshots.
