Expand/Collapse Hierarchies in Tables/Matrix?

In Excel, SSRS, etc... you can easily use a hierarchy and it will make the table/matrix expandable with little + and - buttons:   Is there still no way to accomplish this with Power BI?   F...

It's not possible yet. But I believe it is close. I understand a demo was shown at the recent UK Data Insights summit.

Phil_Seamark, I really hope you're right because this really is a huge deal for so many in whether or not to even use Power BI in ones organisation. It's embarrassing trying to explain to old Excel'ers that a trivial feature like this isn't possible when wanting to shift from stale Excel reports to dynamic PBI-reports. "Why would I want to use Power BI when I can do all it can do and much more in Excel?"  .... 

Do you by any chance have any link or update on this matter?

    I am in the exact same boat... Lots of Excel users but PBI can't host Excel with a data connection to SSAS Tabular model and it can't replicate basic pivot table functionality... Show stopper for us :(

      OneWithQuestionOneWithQuestion As you can see from the idea Sean posted, this feature is Under Review. Let's keep vote it up to make PG prioritize this feature. I will also report this feedback internally. :smileyhappy:
