Isn't there a way a user inputs a code(Text filter) for a specific location and automatically based on that code the report gets filtered according to it?

    That's pretty much what Row Level Security (RLS) does except it relies on the user's login info for filtering rather than having them input a code (which wouldn't be a secure way to do this).

      I know but I'm limited by the fact that the firm has only one microsoft account.

        Hang on... A single service account for publishing all the reports is not an issue here. Are you saying that everyone viewing the reports is also sharing a single account?

         

        If so, this is a violation of your Power BI licensing agreement and you should not expect people to help you find workarounds for things like RLS that work fine when users are licensed properly.
