Exclude expired dates if is valid

Hello,

Im trying to have in my dashboard expired materials,

But i also have in the list some materials with valid dates ( valid from, valid to)

For example a material is vaild today, but has the old dates aswell, in the dashboard if i need only the expired ones, it will apear even

if its valid because of the old dates.

Now the question is how can i exclude the old dates if the respective material is valid?
