Hi,
i can use local Ressources using the personal gateway from Microsoft. But when i try to access a source from a exchange calender the credentials do not seem to work.
I have tried as my user and a shared calender. I also tried this directly with the credentials of the calender. And both work in Power BI Desktop. I also switched between the source-types "exchange" and "exchange online".
But when i try to set up the gateway it just does not work.
Is this a known issue, or am i doing something wrog
Hi @acnt_schartner ,
You may use Cdata connector, check the blog below:

Is there a way to do this with only power bi and the gateway (i also use the gateway with other sources)? I do not want to add extra steps and connectors into our infrastructure.
Hi @acnt_schartner ,
I find an old similar thread which may be of help:

In this linked thread there is a link to suggestions-page with seems to be resolved but all the comments say that it still is an issue. So i guess there just is not a way to get this to work.
Hi @acnt_schartner ,
After testing,If you get data from the Microsoft Exchange Online in desktop, then publish the report to service. Data gateway is not required, dataset connect to Exchange online directly. You just need to enter credential for the dataset then schedule the refresh.

Hi,
sorry it took so long, but other things got in the way. I also created an empty report with an exchange online source. It works with the desktop app.
But in office.com the credentials do not work. It also says "Exchange" as source and not "Exchange Online". I 100% clicked the "Exchange Online" source in the desktop app.
