Excel .xlsx and .xls

Hi there!

Someone can explain to me why when I'add an Excel file with xlsx extension PBI automatically detect the data type even if there's a mixture of data in the same column (Image 1). But isen't the case when I'add the same file with a xls extension (Image 2)Image 1Image 2

There's a solution to this situation ?
