Excel with 1 tab inPowerBI

Good morning,

I'm pretty new on Power BI and had a basic training.

But all the files in our company are Excel files with only 1 tab in it.

But how can I make dimensions with only one tab?

Is there a way to select some collumns and make dimensions of them?

Hi @Jelle89 

You could import data from excel files into Power BI Desktop, then make dimensions of them with Power BI.

There are several tools to transform and model data in Power BI:

Power Query in Power BI

Modeling data :create relatiosnhips/ tables/ columns/measures.

If your scenario is specific, please share some examples for further analysis.
