Excel integration with PoweBI

Geetings,

i have been using Excel since God created this earth 🙂 , well from very long time

i have many reports in excel which are little comples, has lots of formulas and lots of graphs.

now i need to convert them into PowerBI reports, what is the easy way?

when i import my excel workbooks i only get the data and all the calculations and all the formulas are not imported.

is there any way to get that into PowerBi?

there are few sheets in my Excel workbooks where i manully upload the data and then in next few sheets transformations happens and then i can generate graphs from all the transformed data.

i want to build the powerbi report in the same way

1. place to load all the data

2. all transformation

3. graphs.

can you learned people guide me or point me to relvent tutorials or knowledge pool from wher ei can extract all this required knowledge.

Yeah, no.  Don't try to "convert".  Create a Power BI report that answers your business questions.  Don't waste your time trying to make Power BI behave like Excel.  We have a phrase for that - "Fighting the API".  The reason that both Excel and Power BI exist is that they are different. 

Power BI supports relatively solid data models, and it supports (much) larger amount of data than Excel. It also is missing a lot of the features that you are maybe taking for granted in Excel. 

your items 1 and 2 are covered by Power Query - depending on your Excel version you may already have worked with that.

When you run Power BI Desktop and click on the Help menu there is a plethora of (really good) training documents and videos. I would encourage you to spend some time there.
