Excel in Sharepoint folder Error Attempted to read and Write Protected memory, memory is corrupt
DebbieE seems like this is something to do with the excel file? Can you open it in Excel?
"I can acess the spreadsheet and it seems fine. "
As above, I can open it fine No problems.
So are there any things that are a big no in Excel and can cause the issue. I have already come to the conclusion that its something in the Excel File

DebbieE we all (me too) worked with many complex excel files but never seen this issue, it is surely something to do with the file. The only thing we can do is to test the same excel file on another computer to see it works there, at least it will tell is nothing to do with the computer and it is the file.

thats already happened. no one can import the file
My Question is, could specific things in Excel cause the problem. VLOOKUPS. Excel using data from other Excel Files? Just any logic that could cause this issue?
Im well aware that its the spreadsheet

Ive resolved the issue by saving as a csv. I think its because they have macros VLookups. All sorts of things on the XLSB.
Could it be that anything with macros shouldnt be used as a data source?
Anyway. All resolved
