Excel in Sharepoint folder Error Attempted to read and Write Protected memory, memory is corrupt
I can acecss the spreadsheet and it seems fine. it contains one worksheet. Does anyone know of any reason why this could be happening? Are there things you can do with a Spreadsheet that would make it unfit for purpose?
I have also tried importing as an Excel Spreadsheet as a test in desktop and I still get an error
thanks in advance.

As above, I can open it fine No problems.
So are there any things that are a big no in Excel and can cause the issue. I have already come to the conclusion that its something in the Excel File

DebbieE we all (me too) worked with many complex excel files but never seen this issue, it is surely something to do with the file. The only thing we can do is to test the same excel file on another computer to see it works there, at least it will tell is nothing to do with the computer and it is the file.
